[cc-devel] OpenHome project

Hi,
I am Chinmay Naik and i have recently come across the OpenHome project of
Creative Commons. I browsed the ideas section[1] from GSoc ideas list and i
am interested to contribute to this project.

I have previously participated in GSOC-2013 [2] and have written a python
bot[3] to upload gene items on wikidata. I consider myself good in
programming languages such as C,C++,Java, JavaScript,HTML,Python and i am
ok with Node.js(not much programming done in node.js though).

I just had a brief look at the OpenHome system overview, github account. I
wanted to run by you the current condition of the project. Is it under
active development? What components to work on? Any good starters to begin
with?

Apologies for not responding before!

That project is currently paused. Feel free to use the code, of
course, if you like. Also take a look at what the Commons Machinery
folks are doing:

They hang out on this list as well.
