Hey, I'm Matt (mattl) -- I recently started at CC, and I'm
based in Boston, Massachusetts.

I've been involved with the web and free software for a long
time, and I've been following CC for a little over a decade
too. Over the years I've worked on books, records, movies,
TV shows and websites, all using various CC licenses.

Code wise, I am the founder of Libre.fm and its companion
GNU FM software. I also founded GNU social, which
merged with StatusNet last summer.

Part of the fun of any new job is meeting people, both
internal and external to the organization. This is an
invitation to meet, either in person or virtually.

Best,

matt

Greets Matt, and welcome on board!

Me and burobjorn have been working on the new Wordpress CC plugin, and the grant project ends about now. When you have a handle on CC?s github accounts, we?ll have a pull request waiting for you. And then comes pushing the new plugin code into Wordpress?s codex.

The code is here: https://github.com/tarmot/wp-cc-plugin/tree/develop
and should be publish-ready in just a few days.

Sounds great, and having worked with WordPress for a while, I can tell
you it is very needed.

Look forward to pulling it into our account, and don't forget to put
the correct license on your plugin ;)

Hi Matt,

Great to see you in the role of CC's technical person. I like the work
you did at FSF and looking forward to see your influence in CC HQ matters.

grtz
