[cc-devel] [GSoC] Creative Commons LibreOffice (OpenOffice) plugin updates

Hi,

I'm a 3rd year undergraduate from the Department of Computer Science and
Engineering in University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. I have good programming
experience in Java and Python. Very recently I created an extension for
importing/exporting Google documents to LibreOffice using python. You'll be
able to checkout the source code from
https://github.com/ishanthilina/Gnome-Online-Documents-Manager . So I think
I have more than enough experience to get on with this project.

I can either develop the existing extension in Java (which would be easier)
or I can port the extension from Java to Python (Since I already have
experience ). I would really love to continue with this project and would
like to have some guidance on that.

In the due time I'll put a proposal in google-melange too. Till then I
thought that it's my responsibility keep the mentors of the project
informed about me. Hope you will give me some feedback and guide me through
the process.

And yes, we would like to port it from Java->Python for the extension if
possible, so please indicate that and your experience in your submission.
